Google “How to” Statistics

Here is one thing some of my colleagues and I found funny and would like to share it with you.

Found that one early morning at work while chatting before going to get to our work.

So just to to the Google Search Engine and in the search bar type in “how to”. Do not hit Enter. You will end up with something like this:

So seeing this list, we tried to figure out in terms of statistics What this really means.

Assuming that all these searches have been carried out by women, let’s start from the first one:

So 386,000,000 women made love.
Out of those 386,000,000 women, ONLY 27,800,000 ACTUALLY MADE LOVE TO THEIR HUSBAND.
19,600,000 out of the 386,000,000 got pregnant
114,000,000 accepted to kiss their partners
After making love, out of those 386,000,000 women 37,900,000 were judged as being too fat by their partners who suggested them to lose weight
Out of those 37,900,000 fat women, 2,050,000 were unable to fulfill the wish of their partners and got pissed off eventually looking for a career, therefore learning how to write a CV.
Out of the 27,800,000 women who made love to their husband (2.), 8,530,000 doubted that their husband was cheating on them (Probably with the rest of the women who did not make love to their husband), thus they tried to hack their Facebook account to know about their extra marital affair.
Out of the 386,000,000 total women who made love, 248,000,000 of them were so excited that they decided to create their own websites either to post their experience to the world in the form of blogs or to advertise themselves for more experience .
All those women who made love to their husband (27,800,000) were finally bored and decided to kill them, so they just found a way to strangle their husband while helping them tie their tie.
And finally they went to play poker along with some of the other women with whom their husband had extra marital affair, blowing away the money of their late husbands.

This is the end of the story of the “How to” women of the Google Search Engine.

It’s silly, but still made a story out of a simple search query Yeah I know I am crazy, mo mank role

MIT Professor, Dan Nocera, believes he can solve world’s energy problem with an Olympic-sized pool of water. Provide cheap energy to the developing world and predicts the end of the power grid as it would become cheaper to produce your own energy.

He and his team have actually discovered a catalyst to cheaply split water and use the energy.

Journée de la femme : La lâcheté d’un journal

Beaucoup de personnes m’ont demandé ceci aujourd’hui :

“Hey Yashvin, ekrire ene l’article lo journée de la femme!”

Franchement vous dire, je ne savais pas quoi mettre comme contenu.

Mais en parcourant les journaux, j’ai eu la désagréable surprise de voir une caricature et une photo, précisément axées sur La journée de la Femme. Surpris car les deux montrent La Femme, victime de brutalité.

Et de plus, la caricature se trouve en première page dans la section : “Humeur de [...]“!

Vous croyez que ça va faire rire les femmes? Demandez à votre maman / soeur / épouse / copine!

Je me demande bien si c’est la première chose qui passe dans la tête de ces journalistes quand on parle de ce jour spéciale aux yeux des femmes.

Vous savez déjà de quel journal je parle, nul besoin de le préciser! Par contre, Le Matinal a dédié la deuxième page aux femmes, et je la trouve pas mal

Stupid 24/7

I live in Quatre-Bornes and, this week-end, we were victims of that stupid thing called 24/7.

My daughter, Anya, was still awake at midnight last night because, brace yourself, a concert was still on (at midnight!!!) at the Municipality of Quatre-Bornes and the noise was deafening (even though we were 1-2 km away…) Don’t the organisers know that kids should sleep early on Sundays to be fresh for school the next day?

What’s the purpose of organising a concert until midnight? The only reason I can think of is that the Human Resource Development Council knows that no one gives a s*it about that 24/7 thing and the only way to attract a few people is to have such a concert. But come on guys! On Sunday?!? At midnight?!?

I only hope the millions that are being wasted are going to be recouped one day. But I have my doubts… once more.

A rainy Sunday at home

The rainy weather has spoil the whole weekend! I even decided to drive home directly on friday evening. Fortunately, I had not planned anything special this weekend.

Someone has any news about the “drole bato discotek” I spotted at Belle Mare? A few weeks ago, it was in the harbour of Port Louis.

The funny scene but painful situation for a driver who discovered his car without the 4 wheels…

Finally, someone please write a blog article on 24/7. Read the post about the one in Port Louis and Grand Bay.

I’ve decided to keep a journal for two reasons. First, I love fountain pens. I’m always looking for an excuse to use one and second, I want to record the important things that are taking place in the life of my little family because twenty years from now, I may be unable recall what happened today. I hope that one day my child or children (who knows what the future holds for us ) will want to read it.

At the Geneva Auto Show, a new fighting bull was unveiled…

Remember the white Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4, which even a dog could drive…
The 2011 LP 570-4 is the superlight version of the LP 560-4, where every gram of excess material has been removed or replaced with carbon fibre parts.
The weight? A mere 1340kg… That’s 70kg lighter than the LP 560-4 & 90kg less than the previous Superleggera.

In addition to the weight-loss therapy, the tuned 5.2L V10 now delivers 562HP, giving a tremendous weight-to-power ratio of 2.35kg per HP.
0-100 km/h – 3.4s
0-200 km/h – 10.2s
Top speed – 325 km/h
By comparison, the fastest Lamborghini, the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce with its 6.5L V12 can do 0-100 km/h in 3.2s, has a top speed of 342 km/h & is ranked 10th in the Power Lap.

Couple that with the AWD & what you have is a supercar even Enzo Ferrari would be jealous of…

The design of the LP 570-4 is typical Lamborghini, given that it entails 5 months of raised eyebrows, 7 months of dropped jaws & a whole year of drooling!
Still like all its Gallardo relatives, it doesn’t have the legendary scissor doors…

The unique body paint with side stripes in distinctive Italian colours will convince even the most die-hard environmentalist that yes, this is one hell of a green car!
Actually, it has lower CO2 emission, since the fuel consumption is 20.5% less than the LP 560-4.

The massive front intakes are directly inspired from the Revènton, with a secondary function of scooping snow & a tertiary function of saving suicidal cats.

Carbon fibre spoiler, carbon fibre diffusers. carbon fibre exhaust tips, carbon fibre underbody, carbon fibre mirror carings – the LP 570-4 looks like it was crafted out of a huge block of carbon fibre straight out of the mines of Pandora.

The aluminium rims on the 19-inch wheels send out a bold message – every bull has its day.

A fabulous supercar, but only a teaser of the forthcoming Murciélago replacement.
