Dis-assembling is always easy :) I hope I can assemble it all back !

After I disassembled the muffler and all, realized I am missing one tool to remove the part I need to replace in the scooter !!

Yesterday night, japanese food was on the menu and decided to make some vegetarian sushi rolls - Cucumber, Pickled Red Ginger, Mint, Watercress and Wasabi - but wanted to add a lil bit of kick/novelty to it and added some pasta sauce to the ingredients before rolling and the sauce blended in EXCELLENT with everything else ! Pasta sauce goes super good in a sushi roll making for good Italian Japanese Fusion ! Try it out !!

One the main attractions close to Antigua was trekking on, yes on a live active volcano - Pacaya volcano. The volcano has had an erruption a couple of weeks before I was there and while we did not see any lava as such, we did see lots of smoke coming out of the rocks and the sulfuric smell all over. When I went for the hike, it was pouring cats and dogs, but did not stop the expedition. They fit a whole bunch of us tourists at the back of a pickup truck and went in the jungle trails to the volcano. Was nice passing through lots of pineapple fields along the way and checking out the scenery - Also spotted a few wild horses in the pastures surrounding the volcano. It was nice to see fairly new rock formations from solidified lava and the smoke coming out of the earth's core. Too bad we did not get to see any lava as such, but was a nice trek and interesting scenery.

Note : I did trip trip last year and just procastinated and very late in posting.

Sugar cafe got to have the chepeast and longest happy hour of all San Francisco.They have $3 fresh fruit mojitos daily from 5:00p.m to 2:00a.m !! Love how the coffee shop transitions into a lounge/bar after 5:00p.m. Been here at in the earlier half of the day to work a bit in the coffee shop and great to not have to break my work flow to go to a happy hour.. all in one same place !

I was talking to someone over the weekend and he introduced me to a new acronym - EDIS [Every Day is Saturday]. It's very true when you're working on your own projects - Everyday us as much a Saturday as it is a Monday :) What would you do if every day was indeed Saturday for you? 

Today is a beautiful day outside in San Francisco, but yet I am at home working in my home office pictured below. I finally got to using my TV as my second monitor to watch logs of the apps I'm building. I love the multi-purpose TV/Monitor/Internet Device (yes I can tweet or facebook directly from my TV with the remote control as keyboard :))

The annual Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco is the biggest one outside of Asia and it was happening very close to where I live. Went down and caught a bit of the action. Had been raining all day long and it stopped just for the parade. I was impressed by the super long dragon - biggest dragon i've ever seen.. over 30 people long.

Decided to try something new tonight for dinner and got some pakistani fish spices and cooked this Lahori Fish. Was pretty easy as it was pre-packacged Shaan Spices. Just had to make a batter out of the spices, marinate fish for one hour or so and then fry it. Came out very tasty and crispy. Love it !

I went to the CNY Chinatown Flower festival on Sunday and got this new orchid plant from there. It is customary for the Chinese to decorate their homes with bright-coloured plants for Chinese New Year, a tradition which symbolises rebirth, growth, happiness, good fortune and prosperity, among others. The Orchid represents love, luxury, beauty, strength and refinement, virility and long life. Hopefully this year of the Rabbit will have a lot of these things in store for me :)

Had a couple of friends over for dinner last week and again cooked a nice japanese curry and smashed kombucha and mango, cucumber and pomegranate salad.
