Biden as VP, my thoughts, my criticisms

by kinkydodo

Today was announced the vice-presidential candidate for Barack Obama. At 3a.m, demacratic supporters who resgistered got an sms announcing them that Joe Biden, a Delaware senator with 30 years of experience in the senate will be their vice-presidential nominee.

Me there are a number of reasons to rejoice in his nomination.

First of all. i think his grey hair will bring some harsh critics to calm down. Barack Obama selecting a senator who had vast experience in foreign policy is what America needs now. The American people needs someone to redress the country and establish to its previous glory under the mandate of Bill Clinton. American image has been ridiculously tarnished under the Bush Administration that someone has to pull the plug. Someone has to tell the American people that their leaders are destroying their lives and taking away their future and the future of their children.

Secondly, Joe is well know for being an attack dog. Today i listened to his speed and here is a quote: “Americans worry about their shrinking incomes, that’s not a worry [McCain] has to worry about. He  has to think about which of the seven kitchen tables to sit at.” said Joe Biden.” He was indirectly referring to the seven houses that McCain own. 7 houses!!!! And the ordinary American cannot even afford one house today. (due ot the subprime mortgage crisis). Here, i totally agree with what he said and I think that McCain will have a difficult time argueing for the seven houses that McCain owns.

In short, I think Barack Obama made the right choice and I shall and I will continue to support him.
