Preview of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony

More than 10,000 performers have been working on the 50-minute show for three years and all were sworn to secrecy - but, with just eight days to go, a South Korean television network managed to breach security and broadcast just over a minute of the show yesterday.

The images went up on the internet last night, and also included footage of floating 3D humpback whales, thousands of white cubes, a giant green and blue globe, and of course multitudes of dancers and performers.

Chinese Internet users accused the channel of effectively breaking state secrecy laws by showing the footage.

Here’s the leaked video (obtained from this site which had hosted it on LiveLeak.)

Daily Mail has posted the snapshots. Youtube keeps removing the videos. If an Olympic rep. asks me to remove the video, I shall do so. For now, enjoy! The opening ceremony looks promising.
